At the Annecy Festival 2024, we sat down with Inside Out 2 director Kelsey Mann and Producer Mark Nielsen to ask them about the making of the movie.
They told us why they chose to focus on characters like Ennui and Anxiety, how they created the 2D animated characters, how they got feedback from teenage girls, how they manage tu pull of a jaw-dropping panic attack sequence, and what ideas didn’t make the cut.
