The GeForce RTX 4090 will be launched tomorrow by NVIDIA. Here are the first reviews with rendering & creation benchmarks:
- Wccftech did some tests with V-Ray, Octane (the picture above comes from this article).
- Igor’s Lab, reviewed the GPU using, amongst others, Blender and 3ds Max/Maya (viewport performance).
- Overclock3d (Blender benchmark).
- Digital Foundry (games).
Overall, the benchmarks give a clear picture: this GPU is very, very, very powerful, both for rendering and gaming.
However, the price is high as well (MSRP for the Founders Edition: $1600). If you are about to upgrade your GPU, you will also want to check it the GPU can fit in your computer, and whether your power supply is strong enough.
