French digital arts school ESMA unveils No Bird’s Land, a thesis short film focusing on three soldiers during WWI.
Short after an attack, three French soldiers regain consciousness in a shell hole. One of them has a critical injury on the leg, the second one is traumatized due to the horror he juste witnessed, the third one is the only one still healthy, both physically and psychologically. He is going to try to hold this little group together on order to go back home.
The team chose to use birds instead of humans, and created a very moving short film. The lighting was carefully crafted.
